PAPERBALL UNFOLDS: A mix of young designers, artists and social types hit the Paperball benefit for New York’s Museum of Art and Design on Wednesday evening, including Rogan Gregory, Chris Benz, Robert Geller, Terence Koh, Fabiola Beracasa, Lorenzo Martone and Peter Davis. Henry Holland was visiting from London, hosting the Six Scents Series launch event the night before. “I just did a collaboration with Levi’s that will be in stores in February,” he added, noting the Henry Holland x Levi’s line will include men’s and women’s jeans, jackets, dresses and tops.
Bryan Batt of “Mad Men,” one of the party’s hosts, spent part of the evening smoking outside the museum — true to character — draped in a spiffy three-piece Ermenegildo Zegna suit. When not filming, Batt runs a home furnishings shop in New Orleans, called Hazelnut, with his partner of 20 years.
Another host, Rose McGowan, was in town from Iowa, where she’s filming a movie, “Dylan’s Wake,” with Nick Stahl and Amy Smart. “I play a crackhead,” she explained. “It’s really hard core and heartbreaking. And the ugliest clothes ever. So to come here and wear vintage Bill Blass is a nice change.”
