OTTO PILOT: Masako Kumakura has been named managing director of Karla Otto Asia — a new Hong Kong-based branch for the public relations agency. Otto already boasts offices in Milan, Paris, London, New York and Los Angeles. Kumakura was most recently worldwide communications director at Alexander McQueen in London, and before that at Boucheron in Paris in a similar capacity. Karla Otto, president of her namesake agency, said the new operation would support her clients in the burgeoning Asia-Pacific region.
