Lupita Nyong'o to Present at CFDA Fashion Awards

The actress will present the Womenswear Designer of the Year award, which will be decided between Alexander Wang, Joseph Altuzarra and Marc Jacobs.

OSCAR TOUCH: The first presenter for this year’s CFDA Fashion Awards has been disclosed. Lupita Nyong’o will be on hand to present the Womenswear Designer of the Year award, which will be decided between Alexander Wang, Joseph Altuzarra and Marc Jacobs. Nyong’o, who won an Academy Award for best supporting actress for “12 Years a Slave,” was just voted People’s Most Beautiful Person of the Year, and in the issue, wore a dress by Rosie Assoulin, a nominee for this year’s Swarovski Award for Womenswear.

The ceremony, scheduled for June 2 at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall in Manhattan, will be hosted by John Waters.
