ON SHOW: A selection of 250 images by photographer David Bailey, selected by the man himself, will be on display during a major exhibition of his work at the National Portrait Gallery in London. Sponsored by Hugo Boss, “Bailey’s Stardust” will highlight photos from the last 50 years including some unseen images.

From Jean Shrimpton to Mick Jagger and Kate Moss, Bailey has captured a vast range of subjects in his candid style and manner. The lensman will be creating new silver gelatin prints of his black-and-white portraits and a new portrait of Moss will make its debut. To coincide with the exhibition, Bailey will launch a book that features an essay by art critic and writer Tim Marlow and more than 250 images of his work. The exhibit runs from Feb. 6 to June 1.
