DESIGNER DELUGE: Nordstrom has “Jason Fascination.” That is, it can’t seem to get enough of Jason Wu. The Seattle-based retailer has live-streamed on its homepage Wu’s runway show for the second time, the first being fall 2012. Meanwhile, from today to Sept. 17, there’s a virtual trunk show on the site, offering customers an opportunity to preorder items from Wu’s spring collection. Nordstrom’s blogs — The Thread, Beauty 24/7 and Men’s Shop Daily — will carry reports from the retailer’s fashion team.
In addition to Wu’s live-streamed show, Nordstrom will feature on The Thread coverage and video of the runway shows of Oscar de la Renta, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Rag & Bone and Marc Jacobs. Then, it’s on to London, where Nordstrom will live-stream the Burberry show. — Sharon Edelson
