NIVEN TO PARASOL: Fernanda Niven has joined Parasol, a sun protective resortwear brand founded by former Vogue style director Alexandra Kotur, as creative director. Niven will help expand the company — which targets women, girls and boys — into accessories and beauty, featuring products such as hats, sunscreens and sunglasses.
Most recently, Niven has been a contributing editor of Town & Country and a lead investor and business strategist for Organic Avenue, a vegan food and juice company. Earlier, she was a designer for a handbag line she launched in 2000 under her own name. She has also been director of client relations for
Vera Wang.
