NEXT STOP PARIS: The Council of Fashion Designers of America and Vogue are getting ready for the sixth season of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund’s “Americans in Paris” initiative. Participants will include Public School’s Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne, Marc Alary, Richard Chai, George Esquivel, Jennifer Fisher, Juan Carlos Obando, Nonoo’s Misha Nonoo, The Elder Statesman’s Greg Chait, Tome’s Ryan Lobo and Ramon Martin, and Wes Gordon.

From March 1 to 3, this year’s crew will welcome international retailers and other visitors to its showroom at Le 8 Valois. “We are looking forward to introducing a new group of American design talent to the global market,” said Steven Kolb, ceo of the CFDA. “In our sixth season, we continue to support designer alumni from the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund by providing access to new retail relationships and international opportunities.”

This season Tumi luggage will be sending each of the Paris-bound American designers with three pieces of luggage. Fans can keep up with the designers on Twitter via @CFDA and @Tumitravel on their adventures during Paris Fashion Week.
