NEW LOOK: Missoni is revamping its Web site and e-store, which will be unveiled today. Operated by e-tail giant Yoox Group, the new missoni.com will enable users to shop the women’s, men’s, children’s and beachwear collections but will also offer access to exclusive videos, backstage and advertising campaign images, along with social media content.
“Nowadays it’s fundamental to have an online store, available 24 hours a day all over the world,” said Missoni creative director Angela Missoni. “In addition, I think that e-commerce should be integrated into the company’s Web site, in order to be not just a sales tool but also an instrument to communicate the brand’s fashion, style and philosophy.”
The e-store — available in six languages, including Italian, English, Japanese, German and Russian — will sell to 94 countries across Europe, the U.S. and Asia.
