Diane von Furstenberg Readying New Store Concept

NEW LOOK: Diane von Furstenberg will unveil a new store prototype in December at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. “With an exciting new store concept, DVF will undoubtedly create an exceptional shopping experience and will contribute to ongoing strength of our position in the market place,” said Gary Lewis, senior vice president and president of leasing at Forum Shops owner Simon Property Group Inc. The 1,600-square-foot store is not Diane von Furstenberg’s entrance into Las Vegas retail. The brand has had a store at The Shoppes at the Palazzo since that center opened in 2008, although it appears DVF might be considering closing that store. When asked about the future of DVF at The Shoppes at The Palazzo, a spokeswoman said the brand was “unable to provide further information at the moment.” DVF has 12 stores in the U.S., including outlets.
