NEW EYEWEAR: Diesel Group inked a licensing agreement with Marcolin for the production and distribution of its 55DLS eyewear line. The collections will include both sunglasses and prescriptions frames, reflecting the young and irreverent style of the brand run by Renzo Rosso’s son, Andrea Rosso.
“This agreement reinforces the relationship established with Diesel’s boss, Renzo Rosso,” said Maurizio Marcolin, style & licensing officer at Marcolin Group, which already manufactures and distributes the eyewear collections for the Diesel brand. “I love the anti-conformist approach towards creativity used for 55DSL, which includes a pop attitude and a focus on street trends and graphics.”
The new 55DLS eyewear line is set to debut in selected opticians and department stores starting from winter 2013.
