NEW COUPLE: Goga Ashkenazi, the new owner of the Vionnet brand, and Lapo Elkann, an heir to the Agnelli family fortune and founder of the Italia Independent brand, stepped out together on Friday for La Scala’s opening night and were quickly dubbed as the new fashion couple of the moment by the media. As snow blanketed Milan and Richard Wagner’s “Lohengrin” kicked off the prestigious theater’s season, it was an “official” premiere of sorts as a couple for Ashkenazi, wearing a black-and-white backless Vionnet gown, and Elkann, after they were captured in a few paparazzi shots in the fall.
