NEW AT NET-A-PORTER: Net-a-porter Group has hired Tess Macleod Smith, formerly group publishing director at the Hearst Corp., to take over the newly created position of the same name. An announcement is expected today. Macleod Smith will report to Natalie Massenet, founder and executive chairman of Net-a-porter, and Mark Sebba, the company's chief executive officer. The company has also promoted Jenny Cossons to another new position of group head of brand relations. Cossons joined the company two years ago and was previously publisher. Prior to Net-a-porter, she worked for Condé Nast, where she was director of fashion and beauty advertising. She will also report to Massenet.
On the fashion front, Holli Rogers has been named fashion director of the site, another new title.
