ON NARS: François Nars has chosen a longtime muse as the subject of the second of his strategic collaborations: Guy Bourdin. Nars, in addition to having created his namesake cosmetics line (now owned by Shiseido Americas Corp.), is also an avid photographer. The limited-edition color cosmetics collection will “evoke the Parisian fashion photographer’s ambitious, provocative work,” according to the company. The offering, which will hit counters in November, is being produced under a license with Art + Commerce on behalf of Bourdin’s estate.
