STEP LIGHTLY: Nanette Lepore buzzed into Saks Fifth Avenue’s Tysons Corner store Sunday to host a fashion show that raised more than $40,000 for the nonprofit Childhelp. One of the event’s auction bidders walked away with tickets to the designer’s February runway show, backstage access, an invite to the after-party and a dancing lesson with Maksim “Maks” Chmerkovskiy of “Dancing With The Stars” fame. The fast-stepper, who flew in for last weekend’s event, will also take the winner to lunch at Cipriani. A few other familiar faces from ABC — Ian Buchanan and Finola Hughes of “General Hospital” were also at the show.
Lepore helped to see to it that some guests bought pieces from her collection with the $348 After Dark dress, an animal printed frock with a jeweled neckline, being the event’s bestseller.
