CARS AND CLOTHES: It’s always a clear sign of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week approaching rapidly when the title sponsor gets ready to unveil its designer spotlight for the season. At the fall New York collections, which kick off Feb. 9, Naeem Khan will serve as the “Mercedes-Benz Presents” designer, and and some of his work will be on display in the lobby of the tents at Damrosch Park alongside Mercedes-Benz’s new ML63 AMG SUV. Khan will also make a special appearance at the Feb.9 Fashion’s Night In event, which formally kicks off the week of shows at the tents.
