MUMBAI HOSTS VUITTON: The second Conversation hors les Murs at the Cymroza Art gallery in Mumbai delved into the concept of fashion and luxury, a continuum of the tieup between the Espace Louis Vuitton in Tokyo and the art world as the four artists from West Bengal who are being featured at the Tokyo gallery came together with moderator Nanak Ganguly and Christine Vendredi-Ausanneau from Espace Louis Vuitton Tokyo for a panel discussion. The exhibition itself — featuring the four Kolkota-based artists Adip Dutta, Snehasish Maity, Piyali Sadhukhan and Sekhar Roy — is showing at Espace Louis Vuitton, Tokyo until May 6 and is part of a focus on India called “Urban Narratives” dedicated to the contemporary Indian art scene.
