ENGLISH ACCENT: London Fashion Week is adding more new names to the schedule next month: Moschino Cheap and Chic and Belstaff. It is the first time that both brands will show in London.
Moschino’s secondary line will show on Saturday, Feb. 18 at between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m., while Belstaff will present its men’s and women’s collections on Sunday, Feb. 19 between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m.
“London is renowned for its contemporary style and famous sense of humor, making it the perfect place to exhibit Moschino Cheap And Chic’s DNA and energy,” stated Rossella Jardini, creative director of Moschino.
“I’m sure London will be the appropriate platform for this line to grow whilst still remembering its roots.”
The main Moschino collection will continue to show in Milan.
As reported, Stella McCartney will make her London Fashion Week debut in February with a one-off capsule collection to mark the year of the London Olympics, and Alexander McQueen will show the McQ line during the week.
