SECOND GUESSING: Short film just got a whole new meaning: Montblanc has teamed up with celebrated director Wim Wenders on a film contest featuring clips that last just one second. “The Beauty of a Second” project marks the 190th anniversary of the invention of the chronograph by French watchmaker Nicolas Rieussec.
A selection of submissions from amateurs and professionals was screened this week at Montblanc’s booth at the SIHH watch fair in Geneva. Participants have until Friday to upload their video or create a compilation of the clips at www.montblanconesecond.com. The winner will win a trip to Berlin to collect the award and a Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph watch.
