Sergio Buongiovanni has joined Moncler’s board of directors, where he will work directly alongside president Remo Ruffini. Moncler is the leading brand of the Moncler Group, which also features Henry Cotton’s, Marina Yachting and Coast, Weber & Ahaus in its portfolio.
Already a Moncler Group executive and a key figure in its development over the years, Buongiovanni will remain on the board of various other companies, including as president of Moncler Lunettes and councilor for Industries Sportswear Country.
“I would like to thank Sergio again for his great dedication and the valuable work he has done until now,” stated Ruffini. “I am certain that his continued contributions will lead to further growth of the value of Moncler, in its future development.”
Moncler also tapped Luciano Santel as chief corporate officer starting this Monday [September 16]. Santel was previously at Stefanel, where he had been chief executive officer and general director since 2009.
Ruffini said Santel would bring management and financial expertise to Moncler.
