Model Alliance Founder Sara Ziff Previews 'Tangled Thread'

The screening included a Q&A with model Alise Shoemaker and Liana Foxvog of the International Labor Rights Forum.

ZIFF’S SCREENING: Model Alliance founder Sara Ziff previewed “Tangled Thread,” the film she is working on to raise awareness for workers’ rights and safety, Wednesday night at Neuehouse. Timed to coincide with Thursday's fashion Revolution Day, which marks the one-year anniversary of the Rana Plaza tragedy, the screening included a Q&A with model Alise Shoemaker and Liana Foxvog of the International Labor Rights Forum.

Noting that women comprise more than 80 percent of all Bangladeshi workers, Ziff said she hopes her flick will help raise awareness among all types of people — not just those who work in fashion. “I hope my film will influence all sorts of positive change — not just labors rights,” she said.
