WILLIAM’S WEDDING WARDROBE: Prince William is being just as cagey as his bride-to-be Kate Middleton about what he’s wearing on his wedding day. According to British press reports Monday, William plans to marry in a military uniform made by Savile Row tailors Gieves & Hawkes, as the Prince is currently training with Britain’s Royal Air Force. But a spokeswoman for Clarence House, where Prince William and Harry’s offices are based, said that they would “not be commenting” on what William plans to wear for the big day. However, Gieves & Hawkes didn’t entirely dismiss the idea. The tailoring house said, “We have for the past four years had the pleasure of making several garments for the HRH Prince William and family. To the best of our knowledge what the Prince will wear for his wedding is still to be decided.”

Gieves & Hawkes is no stranger to outfitting Britain’s royal household, and currently holds three royal warrants from Queen Elizabeth II, the Duke of Edinburgh and the Prince of Wales.
