MARC’S EXECUTIVE SHUFFLE: There are changes underfoot at Marc Jacobs International. Carolyn Risoli has resigned as president of Marc by Marc Jacobs but, as of Thursday, will assume a consulting and special projects role at the company. Liz Fraser, senior vice president and general manager of Marc by Marc Jacobs Accessories, has been promoted to take on Risoli’s former post. Fraser has worked with Risoli in several different capacities since Marc by Marc Jacobs was launched in 2000.
In addition, Sallie Scripter, senior vice president-general manager of Marc by Marc Jacobs RTW, is also getting a new gig. Scripter will take on the role of senior vice president Marc by Marc Jacobs Global Commercial Support and Wholesale Shop Development. The company is reorganizing its senior level of executives in order to have others pick up Fraser’s and Scripter’s former responsibilities. Under the new setup, “everyone now reports to Liz,” a company spokeswoman said.
