SWISS BLISS: Luxury Goods International, the company owned by PPR that manages the distribution of the group’s luxury brands, including Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney and Balenciaga, has signed an agreement with Swiss construction firm CSC Impresa Costruzioni for the building of a new logistics center in Switzerland.
The construction of the building, which will be located in Sant’Antonino and will cover a surface of 3.4 million square feet, will require an investment of 40 million Swiss francs, or $42 million at current exchange rate.
Luxury Goods International already operates two logistic centers in Switzerland, in Cadempino and in Bioggio.
