L&T TV: Lord & Taylor’s Fifth Avenue windows set the stage for Sunday’s “Celebrity Apprentice” when the teams compete to create the best window displays for Ivanka Trump’s fashion collection — and the designer will be the judge. She wants her collection to be cast in the most flattering light but has the right perspective. “This Sunday’s ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ task will be especially fun,” she said. “But I’m a bit biased.”
The teams have Ivanka Trump footwear, handbags, outerwear and recently launched ready-to-wear to test their visual merchandising skills, and will be further tested by the sophisticated inner workings of the windows, which operate with hydraulics. Team members compete for prize money to donate to charity. Celebrities on this season’s show include Debbie Gibson, Lisa Lampanelli, Clay Aiken and Dee Snider. The show airs Sunday at 9 p.m. on NBC.
