COIF CRAZE: L’Oréal Professionnel Wednesday night and tonight is hosting its first “La Nuit de la Coiffure” (or “Night of Hairstyle”).  It was launched last evening in Paris, when the brand had 100 of its hairstylists convene in Pavillon Champs-Elysées to create looks gratis for up to 1,000 women.

There was also a photo call, cocktail party and DJ set.

Tonight, the coif craze spreads into France’s provinces, as well. Two thousand salons throughout the country are taking part in the event running from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., which also involves 20-minute sessions.

Women can ask for any sort of look they want, then stylists use L’Oréal Professionnel products from lines such as Wild Stylers and Hairchalk.
