LEAVING FOR LAUDER?: Tracey T. Travis may be trading the fashion world for the beauty industry.
Travis, who plans to leave her post as senior vice president and chief financial officer of Ralph Lauren Corp. on June 30, is reportedly joining the Estée Lauder Cos. Inc. as cfo.
She would fill the role currently occupied by Richard Kunes, who last August announced that he intended to serve as Lauder’s cfo until June 30, 2012. Kunes, who plans to retire in 2013, will then stay on at Lauder as executive vice president, senior advisor to the chief executive officer, and work on special projects through June 30, 2013.
