NUTS FOR BRAZIL: Paris department store Le Bon Marché will take on a Brazilian flavor this spring with a two-month-long event featuring pop-up stores and exclusives from Brazilian brands, art installations and culinary animations.
Starting April 10, the store will unveil temporary shops for brands including fashion designer Adriana Barra, Melissa footwear, Okslen sportswear and cosmetics lines Phebo and Granado. Some 120 Brazilian brands in total will participate in the event, with some, including Pedro Lourenço and Havaianas, creating exclusive designs for the occasion. Brazilian artist Pedro Varela will take over the store’s Rue de Sèvres windows with his colorful abstract installations, while photographer Vincent Fournier will pay a visual tribute to the late architect Oscar Niemeyer. The event runs until June 22.
