LADY RAPPER: Lady Gaga put an end to speculation by confirming she is indeed behind the new rap song “Cake,” which has been making the rounds on the Internet. The track, in which her pitched-down voice is virtually unrecognizable, was the soundtrack to her stylist Nicola Formichetti’s ready-to-wear show for Mugler Wednesday.

Gaga, who was in Paris over the weekend to promote her Fame fragrance, did not attend the show. But New York nightlife queen Susanne Bartsch flew the flag for eccentric fashion, showing up in a dramatic hourglass-shaped Mugler jacket, her black hair back-combed into a towering Mohawk ‘do.

“I just got off the plane and I’ve got dirty nails,” she drawled in her distinctive German accent. “We were delayed and then when we got to the hotel there was a problem, so I’ve kind of been up since yesterday. I never slept.” Despite her attention-grabbing outfit, Bartsch said she wasn’t trying to upstage Gaga. “She’s very talented, and she does her thing, I do my thing. The more, the merrier,” she smiled.

Sky Ferreira, on the other hand, was in a low-key mood as she prepared for the release this week of the music video for “Everything is Embarrassing,” a track from her upcoming EP “Ghost.” “It’s a little dark. It’s black-and-white, it’s very simple. I think less is more at the moment,” she explained.
