IDOL WORSHIP: Lady Gaga is expected to wear an outfit designed by Giorgio Armani during her performance tonight on “American Idol.”
The designer described the outfit - a silk mesh bodysuit with embroidered Chantilly lace and crystal and jet beading, topped with a silk organza cape – as “pure fantasy.”
As for Gaga herself, Armani calls her a “modern phenomenon who has proved to be fascinating, and whose every appearance is a piece of theatre.”
The singer also wore Armani to the Grammy Awards and the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala.
