LADIES’ NIGHT: As Pitti W’s guest designer, Maison Kitsuné showcased its women's wear line, which is five seasons old. Telegraphing its hip-young-things lifestyle, the French brand staged a live concert in lieu of a fashion show, tapping various artists from its music label — including Say Lou Lou and Yelle — to model looks from the collection while performing. Documentary maker Loïc Prigent filmed the action.
Crafted from mainly cashmere and Italian cottons, the cute, preppy lineup had a Rockabilly influence. Hits included a button-up A-line skirt in a buttercup shade and high-waist pleated frocks worn over striped men’s-inspired shirts. The show’s co-presenter, Yoon, sported a cool double-breasted jacket in a geometric print with matching shorts.
