KINDER’S BALLETS RUSSES: Designer Kinder Aggugini saw the costumes he created for the English National Ballet’s production of “The Rite of Spring” make their debut in London last week. Aggugini designed black bodysuits embroidered with bold patterns for the production, which is part of the ENB’s “Beyond Ballets Russes” season. “When I saw all of [the dancers] onstage, looking like the tribe I had in my head 10 months ago, I was moved,” said Aggugini. “Nothing prepares you for that feeling you get when you sit in the London Coliseum, fully capturing the sound and the vibrations of 50 dancers jumping in unison on the stage.” The ballet premiered last week and is part of a program that includes Ballets Russes productions “L’Après-midi d’un faune,” followed by a ballet inspired by it, called “Faun(e),” along with a new production of “The Firebird.” The last of those performances will be today, while a program of performances of further Ballets Russes productions will debut Wednesday and run through April 1.
