WEDDING COUNTDOWN: While Kim Kardashian and Kanye West continue their pre-wedding traipse through Paris, sworn-to-secrecy designers and handlers are said to be quadruple-checking every last detail for the couple and their bridal party.

With most of the Kardashian clan having decamped on Europe for Saturday’s wedding, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” fans are trying to decipher which wedding rumors are legit. The French government reportedly squashed the reality star and the Grammy winner’s dream of a Versailles wedding. The couple and their guests may tour Versailles the night before, but will wed at the Château d’Ussé. Nestled on the edge of the Chinon forest, the castle was one of several that inspired Walt Disney to create his own versions.

Supposedly, those involved with any trace of wedding planning had to sign a 15-page confidentiality agreement at Yeezy’s insistence. The parents of baby North supposedly have their eye on Fortezza da Basso in Florence, Italy for their wedding reception. Within walking distance of the heart of the city, the massive Renaissance site has several palazzos including one surrounded by a centuries-old garden.

There has also been speculation that the reception will be held in Florence's Forte di Belvedere. Supposedly, there is a secret underground passage from Fortezza da Basso that leads to Forte di Belvedere and the Boboli Gardens.

Florentine designer Ermanno Scervino appears to have a starring role in the wedding plans though the specifics have not been disclosed. West was the designer’s guest at Villa La Massa in Florence for one night in late April. A spokeswoman for Scervino declined comment Monday. Despite that clandestine meeting, the bridal party will not be bunking at Villa La Massa, which is a sister property of Villa D’Este on Lake Como, a destination known for its discretion in accommodating designers and celebrities.

West has also reportedly met with A.P.C.’s creative director Jean Touitou about designs for the big day. The two men relate creatively, since their second collaboration Kanye x A.P.C. was released in January. An A.P.C. spokeswoman declined comment Monday.

There is no telling what if, anything, Scervino or Touitou have in mind for Kardashian. Vera Wang will not be dressing Kardashian as she did for the 2011 nuptials with Kris Humphries. Apparently, Kardashian is less superstitious about using a repeat wedding planner. Sharon Sacks, who handled her $10 million walk down the aisle in 2011 as well as the pre- and post events, is said to be heavily involved in the preparations for this weekend’s festivities. She did not respond to requests for comment.

Whatever Kardashian has decided to wear for wedding number three — Humphries was her second husband, so this will be her third trip down the aisle — Kardashian knows how to stay in fashion designers’ favor. At the Met gala, she tweeted photos and praise of her favorite designers including Lanvin’s Alber Elbaz,  Valentino’s Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, Zac Posen, Donatella Versace, Balmain’s Olivier Rousteing and Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci. (Wes Gordon got a shout-out last week.)

Around that time she debunked bogus wedding dress photos that were making the rounds as well as reports of a 1,600-person guest list. “No one has seen my dress yet...” she tweeted May 7. As for the reception, “Its VERY small and intimate,” she added.
