FORGOTTEN TREASURE: Fashion editors got a glimpse of a little-known Parisian treasure at Kenzo's cocktail on Thursday night, which featured an installation of some of the outfits the brand showed as guest designer of the Pitti Uomo trade show in Florence this season. The event was held at the Pagoda Paris, a red Chinese-style building near Parc Monceau built in 1928 by Ching Tsai Loo, a collector and dealer of Asian art and antiques. The house, whose interiors are decorated with elaborate lacquer panels, recently reopened after two years of restoration. "I’m obsessed with it," said Humberto Leon, one half of the design duo at Kenzo. (Carol Lim was at home, looking after her baby girl.) "In this collection, there are Asian influences. It's all about the gods and goddesses of Chinese Buddhism and things like that, so I felt like this was a perfect place to showcase the collection." Guests enjoyed appetizers and Belvedere vodka cocktails created especially for the occasion, with names like Jungle of the Sky, Raindrop and Night Clouds.
