CHARITY O’CLOCK: Kenneth Cole continues to pursue his role as a philanthropist. The designer teamed up with licensee partner Geneva Watch Group to design another unisex watch to benefit amfAR, the AIDS research charity of which he has been a chairman for eight years. The limited-edition Powered by You watch features a silver skeleton white dial with rose gold accents, a stainless steel band and a double loop red AIDS ribbon on the case back, a symbol that Cole helped redesign in 2011. The watch, which retails for $250, will hit stores nationwide in the spring with at least $25,000 of proceeds from the sale benefiting amfAR.
