KELLWOOD TO SELL ZOBHA: Kellwood Co. has found a buyer for Zobha, its high performance yoga and fitness apparel business. According to Jill Granoff, Kellwood’s chief executive officer, the company has entered into an agreement to sell the brand to an “undisclosed third party.” Kellwood is also not disclosing the purchase price for Zobha’s intellectual property and assets.
Both Kellwood and Zobha said in May that strategic options for the brand would be explored. Zobha was founded in 2008. Kellwood acquired the Mill Valley, Calif.-based firm in 2011. Since the acquisition, Kellwood has changed its strategic direction. It now focuses its resources on its larger contemporary and juniors brands.
