LIVING PROOF: Narciso Rodriguez, Anna Sui, Richard Lambertson, Nicole Miller, John Bartlett, Reed Krakoff and Yeohlee Teng will be on hand Wednesday morning when results of a study on New York’s Garment Center are released at a Port Authority press conference. Researched by the Design Trust for Public Space, the Made in Midtown report examines New York City’s fashion industry. To illustrate the domestic apparel trade’s significance, a 2,500-square-foot pop-up space will open June 3 at 625 Eighth Avenue. Visitors will find video projections, computer kiosks, a display of locally produced garments and diagrams tracing a garment’s path from start to finish.
