LONDON — Joy Yaffe has exited Raoul, the Singapore-based fashion and accessories brand that is stocked at stores including Harrods, Selfridges, Matches, Printemps, and Saks Fifth Avenue.

The Milan-based Yaffe worked as a consultant for Raoul, helping to build up its list of international wholesale accounts, raising brand awareness, and opening its European showroom in Milan on via Manzoni in 2011.

Douglas Benjamin, who launched the line with his wife Odile in 2002, could not immediately be reached for comment.

Yaffe, who runs an international brand consultancy, had been working with Raoul since May 2009, and exclusively with the brand since July 2011. Her past clients include Matches, Schumacher, Sykes, Maloles, and Tiffany Tuttle.

Before starting her own company Yaffe worked with the Italian leather manufacturer Ruffo, where she launched the firm's experimental line Ruffo Research, headhunting designers including Raf Simons, Sophia Kokosalaki and Veronique Branquinho to create capsule collections.

Yaffe said she’s moving on to new luxury and beauty-related projects with a “social responsibility focus, and a feel-good angle.”

Raoul’s customers include the Duchess of Cambridge and Viola Davis and the brand is part of the FJ Benjamin group, which is listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange.

Raoul has a string of standalone stores in South East Asia, and the brand is also available at department stores and boutiques in the U.S., the U.K., Italy, France, Russia and the Middle East.
