JORDIN SPARKLES: Most designers like nothing better than to see a celebrity wear one of their dresses on the red carpet. Gilbert Chagoury tried to one-up that feeling at Thursday night’s “Sparkle” premiere in Los Angeles by walking the red carpet with Jordin Sparks in one of his red dresses. The “American Idol”-winner-turned-actress wore a Chagoury Couture fishtail gown with a plunging V-neckline for the film’s most pivotal scene. That Swarovski-encrusted number required 50 hours of beadwork by seven seamstresses. And should they choose to, moviegoers can buy the look at Chagoury’s Beverly Hills atelier for $13,000.
