COMING OUT OF HER SHELL: Jil Sander is busy working on her third collection for Japanese fast-fashion brand Uniqlo, but that’s not her only project in the pipeline. The reclusive German designer said she wants to produce a book. “[It’s] going to be some kind of résumé of my work in the past and the ideals that stand behind it,” Sander said, adding she has yet to decide on a publisher. Presumably it won’t be a tell-all about her prickly relationship with Patrizio Bertelli when her company was owned by Prada.
