MOTHER’S DAY: Celine has tapped Japan’s answer to Kate Moss, Ai Tominaga, to design a bag. The stunner, who teamed a Japanese kimono with a Celine clutch at the show Thursday, said it's a hospital bag, intended to be the perfect size for expectant moms to take to hospital. “I’m so glad to help mothers having babies by making something useful,” Tominaga said, adding having a baby herself inspired her. “And it’s a really pretty bag.” Meanwhile, it was a teary farewell moment for outgoing designer Ivana Omazic, who will be succeeded by Phoebe Philo. “I have lots of other projects, but today is for Celine” she said, receiving well-wishers backstage including actress Emmanuelle Seigner, who recently finished “Giallo,” a film by Dario Argento. “Ivana is a friend, but change is always good,” she said.
