Warner Bros. Taps Lauren Moshi for Comic Book Capsule

The fashion designer and artist will bring the characters Tweety, Wonder Woman, Batman, Batgirl, Superman and Supergirl to clothing.

IT’S A BIRD, IT’S A PLANE...: The repertoire of comic book merchandise is expanding. Warner Bros. Consumer Products has tapped fashion designer and artist Lauren Moshi to bring the characters Tweety, Wonder Woman, Batman, Batgirl, Superman and Supergirl to clothing. “These iconic characters are part of my childhood and the Lauren Moshi customer can really relate to them,” said Moshi. Character-specific capsule collections will each have 30 to 35 pieces and roll out over a period of six months. The first one, revolving around Tweety, will start entering stores later this month and the last, focusing on Superman, will hit shelves by February. The collections will feature silk-screened T-shirts, dresses, tote bags and more priced from $98 to $202. They will be available at bloomingdales.com, revolveclothing.com, Lester’s, Singer22 and the Lauren Moshi flagship on Robertson Boulevard in Los Angeles.
