DESIGNING WOMAN: Louis Vuitton is beefing up its team in the ready-to-wear department and tapped a key talent from Prada, WWD has learned. Julie de Libran, who worked beside Miuccia Prada for 10 years and helped establish the Italian firm with celebrity and event dressing, will join Vuitton in November as a design director for the women’s collection, reporting to Vuitton creative director Marc Jacobs. Vuitton officials could not be reached for comment.
