BOOTS AND BIJOUX: Tiffany & Co. has tapped Irina Lazareanu as its next poster girl. At the Off Off Bowery party at Le Baron Monday, Lazareanu said she’s off to New York this week for the shoot with Michael Thompson. Fashion blogger Cory Kennedy is ready for her close-up, too: She’s in negotiations with Dr. Martens to feature in its spring campaign. Other guests included Gareth Pugh and Milla Jovovich, plus fellow model moms Heidi Mount and Angela Lindvall. “We’re the mom’s crew tonight,” said Lindvall before heading off and dancing on a chair with Jovovich. Emma Watson, meanwhile, said her calm demeanor when coping with photographers is appearance only. “Inside I’m screaming,” she admitted.

DESIGNING WOMAN: Louis Vuitton is beefing up its team in the ready-to-wear department and tapped a key talent from Prada, WWD has learned. Julie de Libran, who worked beside Miuccia Prada for 10 years and helped establish the Italian firm with celebrity and event dressing, will join Vuitton in November as a design director for the women’s collection, reporting to Vuitton creative director Marc Jacobs. Vuitton officials could not be reached for comment.

WORTH MENTIONING: Miuccia Prada has a knack for luring hot young actresses to her Miu Miu show. Rumor has it Kate Bosworth and her beau, James Rousseau, are among VIPs expected at the show Sunday night at the end of Paris Fashion Week.

HOT TO TROT: Fendi, which electrified Paris Fashion Week last March with an Amy Winehouse concert, is up to its old party tricks. The Roman house has set Saturday night for another installment of its temporary Fendi’O pop-up club. It’s being billed as a birthday party for Dita Von Teese at the recently revamped Milliardaire nightclub, with Alice Dellal, Daisy Lowe and Pixie Geldof in charge of the music. But the burlesque star plans to put her feet up, and keep her clothes on. “I’m definitely not performing,” she said at Jean Paul Gaultier’s show Tuesday night. “I’ll have a dance party of my own.”

TAKING AMERICA: Australian singer Micky Green said she’s out to conquer the U.S., where her debut album, “White T-Shirt” hasn’t yet been released. “I’m leaving Paris tomorrow to meet with Motown and another label,” Green said at the Maison Martin Margiela show Monday night. Green has just shot her latest video in Berlin. “It’s aesthetic rather than a story,” she said, adding there are looks from Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent and Sonia Rykiel. Elodie Bouchez, meanwhile, is likewise heading Stateside, to shoot the first full feature film by director Zeina Durra in New York in January. Fellow French actress Clotilde Hesme said she’s just started filming “Le Dernier Jour du Monde” (“The Last Day of the World”) with French directing duo the Larrieu brothers in the South of France while her latest movie, “De La Guerre” (“Of the War”), also starring Asia Argento, is released this week. “It’s all very positive and joyous,” she joked of the film’s subject matter. A host of designers at the Margiela show included Raf Simons, Gareth Pugh, Haider Ackermann and the Proenza Schouler duo. “Margiela is always way ahead of everybody,” said Schouler’s Jack McCollough. Later at Yohji Yamamoto, the artsy crowd included British photographer Sarah Moon, who has a book of her work coming out next week. She said she was also putting the finishing touches to her exhibition, opening in two weeks at London’s RCA.

TAKING HIS BEST SCHOTT: Maybe it has something to do with the similarities of their names, but designer Jeremy Scott turned to the Schott outerwear company for a collaboration. He planned to march 10 of his redesigned Schott leather jackets down the runway Tuesday in Paris.
