IPO AHEAD: Hudson’s Bay Co. filed paperwork Tuesday to go public on the Toronto Stock Exchange, according to a financial source. Authorities need to review the registration statement before it can be made public, which could happen as early as this morning. The filing will give investors a much better feel for how The Bay and Lord & Taylor have fared under the stewardship of real estate specialist-turned-retailer Richard Baker.
