DOUBLE DUTCH: Dutch lingerie chain Hunkemöller has tapped luxury lingerie designer Marlies Dekkers for a limited edition line for holiday. Starting Nov. 5, Marlies Dekkers for Hunkemöller will be available in Hunkemöller stores in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.
The four bra and panty sets feature a repeating mask motif and will be priced at 44.99 euros, or about $55 at current exchange. Dekkers’ detailed designs, which have garnered fans such as Nicki Minaj, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Katy Perry, usually retail for more than twice that amount. The Marlies Dekkers brand is sold globally at around 800 department stores, including Neiman Marcus and Harrods, as well as high-end boutiques and in 12 Marlies Dekkers shops around Europe.
With over 500 shops in 16 countries, Hilversum, Netherlands-based Hunkemöller is one of Europe’s larger intimates retailers. The brand is also present in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Israel and Aruba.
