Although Katie Holmes has been test driving various pieces from her new collection on the red carpet for the last few months, Thursday night was the official launch at Maxfield’s for Holmes & Yang, the collection she designs with her stylist Jeanne Yang.
The duo welcomed friends and family to the boutique Thursday night for a low-key bash that drew out Barbara Guggenheim, Alanis Morissette and Holmes’ cousin-in-law, “Lost” actor William Mapother.
“We are having so much fun,” said Holmes of the creative process. “I really enjoy editing the collection and taking inspiration from my friends and my daughter.”
