Ralph Lauren Teeing Up With The R&A

The organization arranges The Open Championship, golf’s oldest major championship, which takes place on British golf courses.

HOLE IN ONE: Ralph Lauren is teeing up with The R&A, which organizes The Open Championship, golf’s oldest major championship, which takes place on British golf courses. As part of the agreement, which runs through July 31, 2016, Lauren will become the official patron and will outfit all officials and staff members at the Open. Lauren will provide RLX Golf and Polo Golf apparel for men and women, as well as Ralph Lauren Childrenswear in the on-site retail pavilion area. In addition, Lauren will create a dedicated Polo Golf men’s collection celebrating the Royal Lytham & St. Annes 2012 Open Championship. The Open takes place each July, has been played annually since 1860.
