HIT THE ACCELERATOR: Nike Inc. has formed Nike+Accelerator, a program to host 10 companies for a three-month startup accelerator that is to be facilitated by TechStars, which has successfully completed over 15 similar programs using the mentor-driven, total immersion program. Nike is currently accepting applications for the program, which will begin in March. Nike will provide development tools, office facilities and technical platforms. The program will culminate in technology investor demonstration days at Nike’s headquarters in Beaverton, Ore., and in California’s Silicon Valley.
