Coin Launches Initiative With Oxfam Italia

The Fashion Circle is a group of women from the fashion industry who have come together to concretely help women living in poverty around the world.

HELPING HAND: Italian retailer Coin has launched the first initiative promoted by Oxfam Italia’s The Fashion Circle, a group of women from the fashion industry who have come together to concretely help women living in poverty around the world. Coin is selling a limited edition of sweatshirts decorated by five designers who are part of The Fashion Circle, including Veronica Etro, Alberta Ferretti, Rossella Jardini, Margherita Maccapani Missoni Amos and Marina Spadafora.

“I believe in women’s power, in solidarity and friendship among women, along with justice for women,” Ferretti said. “Being part of Oxfam means to believe in a better future. That’s why I took part to this project.”

The sweatshirts, available in three colors — white, grey and black — cost 45 euros, or $60 at current exchange rates, in all Coin stores across the country. Proceeds will be entirely donated to Oxfam Italia.
