HEDI ROOM: Word has it Hedi Slimane, who had a soft spot for the Carreau du Temple during his Dior Homme year, is to return to the venue to unveil his newest collections for Saint Laurent. The covered market, built in 1863 and prized for its arches of glass and iron, has been closed for several years following extensive renovations and is slated to reopen officially on April 25.
It is understood Saint Laurent will use the venue for its show scheduled for March 4. A spokeswoman for the house said it only communicates about show venues via its invitations. The Carreau du Temple last hosted a fashion show in 2009.
